Rules:
- All videos must be no more than 3 minutes long.
- No questionable content. If you have to ask if something is questionable, it probably is.
- Must fit the theme ‘What’s Your Story?’ It must be a true story from your own life that has made an impact on you. Here are some ideas to get you thinking:
- A decision I made that changed my life…
- Something that happened on a mission’s trip…
- Something that happened in my family…
- An experience I had that brought me closer to God…
- All entries will become the property of the PennDel Youth Ministries of the Assemblies of God.
- All entries must be postmarked by February 23rd, 2008.
Selection Process:
Videos that fit well with the theme may be used at RISK Youth Convention. Videos will be chosen based on their message and how they fit into the over-all theme of Convention. Selection of videos to be used at the 2008 RISK Youth Convention is at the discretion of the PennDel Youth Ministries staff.
Tips:
- Thou shall not steal. That includes copyrighted material, like music or video. If you use unauthorized material in your video we will not use your video. If you really need music, make your own or get something that’s in the public domain.
- Thou shall use a high quality camera. Just because your cell phone can shoot video, doesn’t mean you should use it! If you don’t have a video camera, borrow one from a friend.
- Thou shall get started now. That February 23rd deadline is coming fast!
- Thou shall be creative. There are a lot of cool ways to tell your story. Think of a message that will inspire other teenagers.
